Variations...........................

Today is going to be an interesting potpourri (is that how you spell that???) Have vacumed downstairs, fed the magical bulldog, washing, wrote down a recipe and made out lists for the first volleyball tournament this Saturday and will go to my home away from home, Publix, later. I do want to get some painting in but that may be in the evening. Ah, like the variations of clouds in my photo, my day has varied tasks but doesn't seem to come out quite as lovely!

Just spoke with the college offspring, he is anxious to get his eating schedule back on track! Oh, to have such a dilemna! Before the holidays I had shed 20 el bees and am struggling a bit to get back on the track. Almost there though, more painting helps. I must start on a painting to donate to a silent auction for my younguns old school. (WHY is his majesty whining??? I braved the cold for him to conduct his majestic business successfully!!!!!) Perhaps his bionic ears hear the clickety clack of senseless words being produced.........I must make a quick escape to the tower of clothes in order to insure silence for his royal nap!!! Hopefully I can report of my exciting endeavors later today......

My Infatuation..........

One of my favorite things is to look at clouds....alot. I have a ginormous number of cloud/sky photos that I take with my digital camera and on my cell phone. I have "forced" my youngest to capture the moment when I was driving....this is not to say that I have not "car kodaked" numerous times! This particular cloudscape did not require driving, just walking in my front yard, which occasionally is a challenge for me.

Patience is a Virtue!

I am fighting an uphill battle of sorts. Thankfully, my college baby is feeling some better and probably will make it to classes tomorrow but someone wiped their nasty-butt hands or sneezed on my "command center" and introduced some sort of fiber-flu that has made me a prime demograph for advertising!!! I have full intentions of showcasing some of the artwork that shoots out of these fiery fingers that I communicate with this very instance! I will do that as soon as the exterminator has worked his magic. (No, this will not be performed by the magic bulldog). Hence......patience, O audience to be! I have also had a request for one of my popular cake recipes....yes, I do try to mix up the magic that I release from these very own magic fingers. Hopefully, I will not be dodging multiple windows to type tomorrow.....................................thank you Almighty for the health of my college baby!

Wah! Wah! Wah!

SIgh....................My baby away at school has strep and the flu! Running a 102 temperature. He's a 19 year old, 6'3", 285 lb. tyke but he will always be my little boy. He lifts weights, hence the delicate size! We offered to go get him and bring him home but he says no. It's not a great feeling when you can't help take care of him. Guess that is another part of the growing up process...for me..uh...I mean him. There is still a chance we will drive two hours to go see him, although that will just interupt him from sleeping, we'll see.

Lunched out with my spouse today, that is always nice but I have not got to any painting as of yet. Now the refrigerator repair man is here to look at the frig in the garage. Cold enough out there now that we don't need a frig but that never lasts very long around here....no.....that would be too easy on our sinuses! It has to go back and forth, hot and cold.

Hmmmmmm.........I do not like the background color on the painting i am working on. Started out with brown, then went to almost black and now it is a very dark green and I still don't like it. The subject is bluish and pinkish/red roses. I always can picture in my head what it is supposed to look like but I obviously had a bad picture cause I don't like it. I am anxious to finish it to move on to something else. Not my way to start another, thought I could work on two simultaneously but it hasn't happened. Think that is why I am not as eager to get back to it, perplexed. Wow, very deep! The bulldog, a.k.a., His Majesty, ruler of all things in this house is whining to go out. (Presently in the royal crate) Heaven forbid, since the repairman is here. Now it is also time to go pick up my daughter from school. Wow, I've really got to dig deep for more creative and interesting prose here......I can here those reading dropping like flies! Once you get to know me, you'll love me! Gotta go now. Taxi mama time.......

Just What I Need......

So, I've decided to join the blog community. Was a decision I did not take lightly. Do I dare share my daily trials with the world, does anyone really care? Eh, probably not, but I type faster than I write and someone would probably find my diary anyhow, probably the dog. Figure I could try to be one of the more elite idiots on the internet. Besides, I'm on a new quest in my life.....to become a name as an artist, at least in my area, and sell enough to pay for my habits and my children's future. Oh yeah, my spouse was ready for more than just my input of washing, cooking, some cleaning, taking the dog out (you will quickly learn that this dog has amazing powers!) running my daughter to school and volleyball, baking, and so on, and so on. Yeah, let's paint for a couple of hours a day, I am presently working on my third canvas. More later, gotta put on a roast, bathe, and pick up my daughter, besides, I'm exhausted...just created my first blog! Whew!
