My dad referred to these clouds as "mare tails".....said it meant rain would come in the next three days. 
Two of these are almost alike but it was so pretty I thought it was worth it. There's a little rainbow spectrum that can be seen in the first and third photo. These are fresh snaps...just taken a couple of hours ago as I arrived at the grocery parking lot.....have got quite a few good ones there in past!
