Still Here....

Hope to catch up with everyone soon. Seems like I am in a funk, spinning my wheels, catching up.....don't really know what. Feels like the big M, wanting to burst into tears a few times a day and then the next minute, angry... except I've already been through all that years ago. Can't focus on art it seems but at the same time am wanting to do more. Anyhow, I didn't drop off the face of the earth, at least not physically! Feels like I'm in a holding pattern, which is okay if you're a 747.....I just need to "get my you know what together".......

  1. no matter what our age, there's always inner turmoil going on...I think it's just the 'artist's way'...

  2. I agree with Camelina! Always some kind of inner turmoil is certainly true for my 'artist's way'!

yes, you still totally normal to me too...I think I'm in the same funk you're in...and I haven't done the big M yet...LOL!

One step at a time, smile and pick up a pencil and a sketchpad...doodle just for the heck of it!

  4. I'm there, too. I feel tired all the time and lack interest in my usual activities. Can't be the big M for me; I've already been there. Hopefully, we will pop out of it with the onset of Spring.

  7. No worries. I think we all have a rythym to our lives. The Holding Pattern is just one of the stops along this big adventure. I think it is like a good stew...It is the boiling and merging part of ourselves. Out of every good holding pattern comes a new adventure. Roll with it gir! Embrace it! Give yourself a chance to cook ;) Hugs, M
