Amazingly, I have not snapped any sky photos in awhile, been somewhat of a house hermit. However, indulge me while I share this 16x20 painting I started this week. I am working off a photo I took a couple of years ago. They sky is pretty much finished, working on the landscape now. See it, off in the distance? Beautiful blue skies and white clouds surround the one dark cloud.

Rain coming down from the one spot. I had never seen it quite like that in the distance, released from one, almost round spot from the cloud.

You could see the opening in the cloud. Taken on the return home from a quick trip to school and back with BigBoy last week.

This photo was taken last Saturday afternoon when we were outside my friend's house taking the prom pictures of the kids. I saw the sun through the neat shaped trees and had to snap a few. Didn't notice the jet streak at the top, just left of center, until I looked at it on the laptop.
