SkyWatch Friday

Amazingly, I have not snapped any sky photos in awhile, been somewhat of a house hermit. However, indulge me while I share this 16x20 painting I started this week. I am working off a photo I took a couple of years ago. They sky is pretty much finished, working on the landscape now. I'm sure you can see some real beautiful skies at http://www.skyley.blogspot.com/ .

    Excellent rendering. Skies are a constant source of inspiration to me, but this is exceptional. (I can't decide for sure whether it's oil or water.)
